We hate to WAIT don't we?  Waiting is actually becoming a lost art and forget waiting patiently!
We've lost this important ability because there are fewer and fewer things we have to wait for.  We have FAST food, call waiting (which means we don't have to wait), texting, INSTANT messaging, digital photography, and email to mention just a few examples.
Well, isn't this good?  Who wants to wait?  What could be good about having to wait?
The Bible says, "The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him.
It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the LORD. "
Waiting and patience are Godly attributes.  When we don't learn to wait we get ourselves into all kinds of messes.  Many, many times "no" doesn't mean NEVER it simply means WAIT!!  God has a perfect plan for us and when we can't wait we take a detour that leads us into unplanned, unsafe territory.
God's plans are always worth the wait.  Always. 
Wait children.  Don't TAKE for yourselves, less than all that God wants to give you if you will just WAIT on Him.  He loves you, He has such a glorious plan for you.  Wait.  It will be worth it.

What is people's FIRST impression of you?  When you meet people do you leave them with the impression of Jesus?  No matter who we are, what are personal traits, characteristics, quirks or nature are, we should all be impressing people with Jesus.  That is what will make a truly lasting impression on people.  That's what will make us distinct.  Not if they think we are cute or cool or sexy or silly....but the love of God and the fruit of the spirit will make us stand out in the world.
